3. Essener Firmenlauf – Reportage
Essen, 19th of May 2013.
More than 5000 participants between professional and amateur athletes took part at the 3rd Essener Firmenlauf, a 5km marathon dedicated to employees of companies situated in the city of Essen (Germany, NRW).
My aim was to photograph the end of the marathon and to show the differences between the professional runners and the amateurs: the first ones were interested in checking their time, the second ones were laughing while crossing the finish line and someone was wearing funny clothes or accessories. At the end, they all had in common one thing: the final party and a great atmosphere with a good mood because everyone succeeded in its personal aim.
