In today’s video we have a glimpse at the beautiful location of Winterberg, located in the middle of the Sauerland, in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany). The Sauerland is a rural, hilly area and the town of Winterberg is surrounded by the highest mountains of West Germany. This makes the area perfect for hiking, mountain biking and cycling, and in winter is a major winter sport resort. My family and I went there for a weekend in July 2022, and we spent the Saturday at the second highest mountain of the Sauerland, the Kahler Asten, where I’ve found some interesting scenes to take some black and white photos of. Finally, in the evening, when the sun was setting, I’ve made a short walk in the hilly area where we stayed the previous night and I took some other photos. Let’s have a look. All the images come from the Fujifilm X-T4. For the black and white images I’ve used the Acros film simulation, sometimes combining it with the yellow filter, sometimes with the red filter and for some photos I’ve used also a circular polarizer.
